Amazing Verse!

I have been thinking for days... on what to blog about. I know it took forever! But I came across this amazing verse and it reads...
So, what a blessing when God steps in and corrects you! Mind you, don’t despise the discipline of Almighty God! True, he wounds, but he also dresses the wound; the same hand that hurts you, heals you. From one disaster after another he delivers you; no matter what the calamity, the EVIL can’t touch you! Job 5:18

This verse stopped me dead in my tracks, being the person that I am, I was trying to find some kind of understanding of what discipleship had anything to do with discipline, although the words are very similer to one another, I was still in question. I sent a verse to a friend, then she returned this verse to me, I had been asking the HS to give me understanding, and I can honestly say that I got BIBLICALLY PUNKED!!

What a blessing when God corrects you- God loves you too much, to leave you the way you are!

Mind you, dont despise the discipline of the Alimighty God - God disciplines those that he loves!!

True , he wounds - Sometimes it HURTS!!

But he also dresses the wounds - He comforts you!

The same hand that hurts you heals you - Testing!!

From one disaster after another, he delivers you - His Protection and Faithfulness!

No matter what the calamity, evil cant touch you - No evil, can touch his Anointed!!

Lets face it, God is crazy about us!! I thought this was pretty special, and I want to share this, with the rest of the world!

The Depths of Our Intimacy

If you look at this picture clearly, there are really no roots but stubs. The purpose for the roots are to find water to sustain the tree, it has to have a life source. There was nothing to sustain this tree during the storm, causing it to fall over.
As christians, if we do not have roots in the word of God, we too, will fall over when the wind starts blowing, because we have no depths. There needs to be a steady connection source, which is God!! We are the body of Christ, he grows down into us, producing life.
Christ is the only one that can with hold us, when trials come our way. I will stand firm , and not be moved for I know that Christ is my source.

Carry My Cross

Have you ever felt as if you were coming to the end of youre rope?
These past few weeks have been, a bit crazy.
One, I can just give in and quit, and let the enemy win. Two, I can go through the valley, and know that, Jesus is with me. I will carry my cross, God has never left me nor forsaken me.
Its easier said then done, but I have learned, that throughout these hard times that prayer is the key. God listens, even though we cant see him, he is there at our every beck and call.

SPIRITUAL MATURITY...

SPIRITUAL MATURITY IS NOT 10 -20 YEARS SERVING THE LORD…..
SO THE QUESTION IS….. WHAT IS SPIRITUAL MATURITY?

IT IS WHEN YOU CAN LOVE AND FORGIVE THOSE WHO HAVE HURT YOU…

WHEN PEOPLE OFFEND YOU AND YOU REFUSE TO GET OFFENDED..

WHEN YOU STILL GO WORSHIP THE LORD, WHEN YOU FEEL LIKE THE WHOLE WORLD HAS CAVED IN….

WHEN YOU HAVE BEEN BETRAYED BY YOUR BESTFRIEND AND YOU STILL FORGIVE AND LOVE THEM……

WHEN GOD BLESSES SOMEONE AND YOU DON’T GET JEALOUS..

WHEN SOMEONE GETS A RAISE AND YOU DIDN’T, YOU CAN STILL PRAISE GOD AND NOT BE ENVIOUS…

WHEN SOMEONE HAS DONE YOU WRONG, AND YOU DON’T GOSSIP…

YOU HAVE TO BE ABLE TO WALK IN FORGIVENESS AND LOVE AT ALL TIMES…..

I Layed It At The Cross...

Have you ever went to Jesus, and layed your burden at the cross? I was having dinner with a friend on Monday, she is a great women of God. We were having an interesting conversation, It was about issues that we had layed at the cross, and how the enemy tries to reopen old wounds, hurt, unforgiveness and so on... It is a daily struggle for many people. The good news is, we can overcome these feelings by faith and trusting our heavenly Father. when you make the decision to lay your burdens down, it means that you no longer are going to rely on self, but rely on God. And when the enemy comes in, and tries to poke at you, you simply say No, I have layed that down at the cross!!

What is your take on this? Will you trust in God, and lay your burden down?

I Want To Be Like You

I took my oldest daughter shopping this Saturday, her dad gave her some Birthday money. Of all the things that she could have bought, she came out of the store with the same perfume that I wear. To be honest, I really wasn't liking the Idea. I told her, we couldn't be wearing the same perfume, that it was more for grown ups, and she looked at me and said, Mommy It smells so good, and I want to be just like you. It brought a huge smile to my face, and filled my heart with joy. I am truly blessed, to have such a wonderful daughter.

Testing 123 Testing....

Spiritual Tests....
We are tested on our faith and committment to God.
Will you go head on into the storm, and clinge on to his promise, or will you bail out?
Its easier said than done, but with Christ in us, everything is possible. I can remember so many times, that I wanted to give up and throw in the towel, then I remeber God's grace and mercy. We as believers have to be determined to obey God, no matter the cost. As painful as some tests are, God is using them to grow us into all that he wants us to be. He has promised to walk with us in the midst of our trials, and bring blessings.

Live with the eyes of our heart open. God wants us to put our faith in Him, believing with full confidence that He will take care of the obstacles, guide us around the problems, and carry us through to the end

So... when you see the storm headed you're way, are you going to love and trust him? All God wants from us, is our committed hearts.....

Mother = Love

Of all the rights of women, the greatest is to be a mother.
Lin Yn-tang

A mother’s eyes see with her heart and her heart holds only unconditional love. A mother’s touch is infinitely gentle and patient. However, we can love them just as surely as we can love ourselves in an understanding and compassionate way.
A mother's love is countless and meaningful. The love that I have for my children is endless and indescribable!
I thank God everyday, It is only because of him that I am able to perform my duties as a loving mother.......

Christlike Anyone?

Let this same attitude and purpose and humble mind be in you that was in Christ Jesus. Let Him be your example in humility” (Philippians 2:5 AMP).

That means we have the same spirit of humility—the same strength, the same love, the same power on the inside. We are empowered to follow His example and do what He did.

When we surrender our lives and our will to God, we take the first step on the path towards a christlike mind. Many characteristics of Christlike are kindness, goodness, patience, and obedience. This transformation includes a change of mindset, commitment and faith. We cannot make ourselves Christlike, we must rely on the Holy Spirit to do the work. Our job is willing to change and to walk in the changes that are made in us.

SiSsY

A sister is a friend and defender - a listener, conspirator, a counsellor and a sharer of delights. And sorrows too.
Pam Brown

As most of you know, I was blessed with one sister, I was six years old, and my sissy was two. I got out bed and got dressed for Sunday school, I didnt want to leave my sister alone, I got her ready and we waited for the bus to pick us up. I got to Sunday school and took her to her class, and went to mine. We had lots of fun, but one thing that I forgot to do, was tell my mom that we were going!! She finally found us safe and sound, getting off the Sunday School Bus.

I love my sister, she has always been there for me. She is the one person that is loyal, trusting, caring, and most of all loving!! Her name is Diana Labauve. She is always there to lend an ear, and fill me with her encouraging words. I just wanted to let everyone know how special this women, wife, aunt and mother is to me. I love you sissy......

Making The Right Decision

Now, think for a moment what are the right decisions?

Do you go with the flow, or do you listen to your heart?
Do you follow your conviction? a good friend of mine once told me....
don't be a people pleaser, be a God pleaser....
How do we put this into practice?
What is your take on this?
