I Thank You, Lord

How many time do we find ourselves, calling upon the Lord with our endless prayer list? I will be the first to admit, it happens quite often!
I am going to do something different today, I just want to come to you without problems, without asking for anything, without telling you how to run my day. I just want to say Thank You Lord!

For your forgiveness when we fall...

For the silent strength of HUMILITY when pride over takes us..

For the relationships that you have brought into my life.

For the rest, that you give me, when I am tired.

For your GUIDANCE!!

For your FAITHFULNESS!!

For the HOPE!!!

For all the BLESSINGS!

Thank You Lord, for all these things, but most of all Thank You for your abiding presense, that makes everyday I live, A DAY OF THANKS!!

My Preacher Man!

The seeds that are planted in our childrens lives, are priceless! My son's name is Matthew Aaron Martinez, he is six years old, and adorable! My Pastor is a T shirt and Jeans type of guy. And on Sundays, he tops it with a blazer, to give us our weekly dose!
Well one afternoon, while I was sitting on my couch, talking with my kids, Matthew comes up to me and says.. Look Mommy!! Im Pastor Steve!! It brought joy to my heart, knowing that he is looking up to, awesome Godly people in his little precious life!!
Hopefully one day, he will be able to preach the word!!

Victory Family Girls Club!!

Here is a picture of Victory Family Girls Club! I'm super excited that, I am able to teach these girls on how, to live a God honoring life!! As we enter a New Year, we are also entering a new beginning! We live for Christ!! I am delighted to say that, the Lord has placed this calling upon my heart, to him be all the Honor and all the Glory!!
Be imitators of God, therefore as dearly loved children, and live a life of LOVE!!

Amazing Verse!

I have been thinking for days... on what to blog about. I know it took forever! But I came across this amazing verse and it reads...
So, what a blessing when God steps in and corrects you! Mind you, don’t despise the discipline of Almighty God! True, he wounds, but he also dresses the wound; the same hand that hurts you, heals you. From one disaster after another he delivers you; no matter what the calamity, the EVIL can’t touch you! Job 5:18

This verse stopped me dead in my tracks, being the person that I am, I was trying to find some kind of understanding of what discipleship had anything to do with discipline, although the words are very similer to one another, I was still in question. I sent a verse to a friend, then she returned this verse to me, I had been asking the HS to give me understanding, and I can honestly say that I got BIBLICALLY PUNKED!!

What a blessing when God corrects you- God loves you too much, to leave you the way you are!

Mind you, dont despise the discipline of the Alimighty God - God disciplines those that he loves!!

True , he wounds - Sometimes it HURTS!!

But he also dresses the wounds - He comforts you!

The same hand that hurts you heals you - Testing!!

From one disaster after another, he delivers you - His Protection and Faithfulness!

No matter what the calamity, evil cant touch you - No evil, can touch his Anointed!!

Lets face it, God is crazy about us!! I thought this was pretty special, and I want to share this, with the rest of the world!

The Depths of Our Intimacy

If you look at this picture clearly, there are really no roots but stubs. The purpose for the roots are to find water to sustain the tree, it has to have a life source. There was nothing to sustain this tree during the storm, causing it to fall over.

As christians, if we do not have roots in the word of God, we too, will fall over when the wind starts blowing, because we have no depths. There needs to be a steady connection source, which is God!! We are the body of Christ, he grows down into us, producing life.

Christ is the only one that can with hold us, when trials come our way. I will stand firm , and not be moved for I know that Christ is my source.

Carry My Cross

Have you ever felt as if you were coming to the end of youre rope?
These past few weeks have been, a bit crazy.
One, I can just give in and quit, and let the enemy win. Two, I can go through the valley, and know that, Jesus is with me. I will carry my cross, God has never left me nor forsaken me.
Its easier said then done, but I have learned, that throughout these hard times that prayer is the key. God listens, even though we cant see him, he is there at our every beck and call.

SPIRITUAL MATURITY...

SPIRITUAL MATURITY IS NOT 10 -20 YEARS SERVING THE LORD…..
SO THE QUESTION IS….. WHAT IS SPIRITUAL MATURITY?

IT IS WHEN YOU CAN LOVE AND FORGIVE THOSE WHO HAVE HURT YOU…

WHEN PEOPLE OFFEND YOU AND YOU REFUSE TO GET OFFENDED..

WHEN YOU STILL GO WORSHIP THE LORD, WHEN YOU FEEL LIKE THE WHOLE WORLD HAS CAVED IN….

WHEN YOU HAVE BEEN BETRAYED BY YOUR BESTFRIEND AND YOU STILL FORGIVE AND LOVE THEM……

WHEN GOD BLESSES SOMEONE AND YOU DON’T GET JEALOUS..

WHEN SOMEONE GETS A RAISE AND YOU DIDN’T, YOU CAN STILL PRAISE GOD AND NOT BE ENVIOUS…

WHEN SOMEONE HAS DONE YOU WRONG, AND YOU DON’T GOSSIP…

YOU HAVE TO BE ABLE TO WALK IN FORGIVENESS AND LOVE AT ALL TIMES…..
